Your Anime News
Hi everyone! I’m back from a bit of a hiatus with plenty of plans for blog updates, but I’ve gotta know firstĀ - what do you guys want to hear? I’ve been meaning to make my posts a bit more personal, and I’ve always wondered if I should be concentrating more on the newest news in Japan or concentrating what’s making its way to this side of the pond, as most of our audience is English-speaking. It seems the more I talked about the latest manga the more people wanted to hear about Tokyopop’s release schedules instead! So this is a call to you guys, the readers, to find out what it is you want to see in this column. I’ll still be making my series-info posts and reporting on major events like which huge show has just been licensed, but I’d like to mix it up a bit. If you have something you’d like covered - anything at all anime related - comment and I’ll do my best to deliver!

If you stayed with posts on anime in Japan that would be wonderful.
Seeing as I don’t really buy Dvds unless I know the series.. American
release sec hues wouldn’t help me a lot.

I run an Anime Club at the University of New Mexico, and I just found this site. I’m always happy to hear about the newest upcoming series in Japan and the ones that are making there way here too.
I’m trying to get some suggestions together for our next series to watch in club and I want something that is only available in Japan, so I can download the fansubs.
KIBA looks interesting so I’m trying to find various reviews on it.
Preferably anything with action in it. We’ve been watching a lot of comedy series (i.e. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) and now we need something with a little more power and excitement to it (i.e. Bleach, too bad its already licensed).
Another one that I’m interested in, although not nearly as action packed as Bleach, is Death Note.
