Keroro Gunso
It doesn’t get much weirder than this (unless you’ve been watching Wedding Peach).
Keroro Gunso is the story of an alien frog commando team stranded on Earth when their invasion force abruptly abandons them. The 4-frog platoon is headed by Sergeant Keroro (”keroro” is onomotopaeic, considered in Japan to be a sound made by a frog), who is taken in by the very family whose house he attempts to invade.
The show, divided into fifteen-minute episodes, follows Sgt. Keroro’s attempts to take over Earth while building Gundam models in his spare time. Hilarious puns, jokes and spoofs of other animes pepper Keroro Gunso, along with funny and touching storylines and characters.
The manga series by Yoshigiki Mine ran in Monthly Shounen Ace starting in 1999, and has since then been licensed for North American distribution and published by Tokyopop as Sgt. Frog, however, the anime (which is still ongoing on TV-Tokyo and is directed by Junichi Sato of Sailormoon fame) has not been picked up.

Keroro Gunso is a great show! It’s too bad almost no one seems to notice it though.

Man when the hell is this gonna reach american stores in english dialogue? I’m almost done with the manga series, and I wanna get my hands on these dvds next! GREAT manga!

yeah it is a great Manga. i really cant wait till i get my hands on it. (one way or another)
although, in Japan, it is getting really big. hope it comes to the US

This is the most funniest cartoon in the planet. I’ve already seen alot of episodes which include other members of the Keroro Squad, Kururu and Dororo, which makes it much more exciting. But it was show in Japan (English form too). Watch it 1 or 2 times and you’ll love it. They better show it in CA.

its true they need more anime in english dialogue, and im not saying this because im lazy or anything. I just think that when ur watching u get distracted. (at least i do) And if u hav eto go out of the room ur watching it in, with english dialogue, at leats u can hear whats going on.

hey..i,m from indonesia…i watching srg keroro from cable tv..and in english version,,they’re so funny,and sometimes make something stupid act…i really love it
